Life Is Breathtakingly Beautiful

Just a reminder that you DON'T need an expensive photo session to get some priceless shots!  I ALWAYS have my camera on me!  This is my little trouble maker, the wild child, the adventurous one, the one that cracks me up every minute but frustrates me so much at the same time!
I LOVE you so much Ella Blake...you wild little thing!

Enjoy!

May You Stay Forever Young

Watching my babies grow makes me happy, sad & a little emotional.  I can't believe on Halloween i'll have a 3 year old and a few months later a 2 year old!  Time sure does fly...remember to take time to capture all their precious moments (good or bad) because it's amazing how much you forget as time goes by! Always keep in mind, your best camera is the one you have on you!  Enjoy!

52 Memories

On August 8th my little family of four made our way from Arizona to Washington...but before we headed out we had a family dinner at Paradise Bakery...ummm...if you haven't been there...GO...go VERY fast and do yourself a favor and get a cookie!  Dinner was great, but the company was even better.  As we made our departure my baby sister, who is the best ever, gave me a going away gift.  For sake of balling my eyes out, right in the parking lot, I chose to wait on opening it.  At least til I was IN my car and alone!  The good-byes were hard but I managed to hold off until we got to Washington to open my gift and was yet again, alone.  Why you ask?  Well, because I knew I would need a tissue or two...or three...oh hell...the WHOLE box!  I knew that my baby sister would NOT disappoint and I just knew it would be homemade!  We LOVE homemade gifts...they are simply the BEST!

This gift brought instant tears to my eyes and even more as I read the little note and opened the gift.  It's 100% likely that I'll need a box of tissues every time I open the jar!  This girl...well I can't say enough about her.  She's purely amazing...that is all...amazing!

So without further a do....the gift!
**if you are interested in purchasing one of these jars made my Miss Tanya Johnson, it will be available on my Etsy shop, if an when I ever finish my shop policies! (or just copy it...haha)**

Enjoy!

Banana Muffins

Who doesn't love their Momma's cooking?  Even more who doesn't love their Momma's recipes?  Today, I busted out the mixer and whipped up some Banana muffins; of course I had a little helper!  The BEST banana bread EVER and i'm not just saying that!

Pick Your Plum...the BEST!

Just showing some love to one of my favorite websites today!  Pick Your Plum and I have been friends for 2 years & 15 weeks to be exact!  They have provided me with some very cute stuff!  My husband hates seeing Pick Your Plum show up on the bank account ledger...he knows i'm up to no good!  No good?  Well...maybe no good for him but definitely something cute!  So head on over to Pick Your Plum and get signed up!  You WON'T be disappointed (good for Christmas or gifts in general)!

There's a new deal every morning that's posted at 7am...you WILL find yourself getting up just to see what today's plum is...trust me!  Go...go...go...don't miss out!  Enjoy.

Fierce Printable

Today and everyday i'm working on printables...but today was some for Ella's bedroom.  I love that this girl is SUPER girly but LOVES bugs, dirt and anything that can and will get her in trouble.  Currently, her bedroom is a little darker than sky blue and not really girly.  I think I've chose a gray but which is still the question.  While it's a darker state I want it to be cheery, but still cozy.  So i'm thinking possibly the lightest gray I can find.  Anyhow...today I whipped this up for her room.  I'll do yellow accents!  I absolutely LOVE it and fits her to a T!  Feel free to use, if you want.  I would recommend printing on cardstock or even a heavyweight photo paper!  It's formatted for 11x14 print.  If you would rather it be emailed, just let me know!  Enjoy!

Washington...oh Washington...

How I love your summer months!  We explored today after church...and we hit the jackpot!  I see us taking walks through this little area A LOT! I do photography on the side, though i've taken a LONG break with moving, etc...but I love being able to capture my monkeys and a little text doesn't hurt!  If you are looking for that easy to manuever site for photos that isn't expensive or takes a class to learn, you should check out Pic Monkey.  I use them for all my text or when I don't feel like messing with PSE10.  Good luck and happy creating!

Hello. My love for vinyl...

Washington to Arizona...what a HUGE change!  I was born and raised in Arizona and have NEVER lived outside the state. Boy...was I missing out.  Here I am 30 years old (yeah, i'm THAT old) and can definitely say, this was just the change we needed.  I'm sure there will be some not so good weather days as Seattle is known for them, but so far so good.  With that being said a few weeks ago I was milling around on Pinterest, yes, that site IS my best friend, sorry Dustin; and I came across this cute little door from Ginger Snaps.
cute front door

Dont you just LOVE it?  When we found our house in Washington, it had a red door and this EXACT handle...it was meant to be, right?  Right!  So...I followed the pin, which usually lead you nowhere, and got to Ginger Snaps who doesn't make it anymore but definitely left directions on how she made her wreath!  I can't find the tutorial right now but it's a wire wreath with a 6x9 painters cloth cut in 2x12 strips and tied on!  Anyhow, if interested, you can buy the vinyl here.  Or you can wait and purchase it from me at some point...i'm gonna get a Silhouette!  So, I made my wreath in Arizona, and had my vinyl waiting for me in Washington!  Here is my front door:

I still have some little things to do, such as painting the door handle, making a new house number display and possibly turning those light fixtures to point down...just looks off a bit, no?  So, there you have it...my first "craft" post!  I'm sooo beyond excited!
